Covering approximately 1.5 acres, Upper Nebo Pond is one of several small ponds on the Francis Marion National Forest that provides good fishing for bass, bream and catfish.

Directions
Five miles south of Awendaw, S.C. off Hwy 17 on FS Road 5138 (behind parking area of US Fish & Wildlife Service Admin. Building, 5801 Hwy. 17 N.). The access road is gated so you will have to walk a short distance to the pond.
