A California State Sno-Park Site is located at the East Fork Day Use parking area approximately 5 miles west of Tom’s Place on the Rock Creek Road. The road to the site and the parking area are plowed through the snow-park program which uses funds collected through the parking fee.

Both day use and annual passes are available from the Mammoth Lakes Welcome Center, Tom’s Place Resort, White Mountain Ranger Station in Bishop, and Eastern Sierra Interagency Visitor Center at Lone Pine.
Day use passes are also available from a self-serve fee tube at the site.
Snow play, ski, and snowshoe opportunities exist from the East Fork parking area, up Rock Creek Road. The John Muir Wilderness is about 6 miles from the parking area. Cross-country ski track is intermittently set by the Rock Creek Lodge which operates cabins and dining service during the winter (Ski In Only!). The lodge can be reached at (760) 935-4170
