This is the highest point along the Sierra Vista Scenic Byway. A short walk along the trail to viewing benches and platform at Cold Springs Meadow will unveil a spectacular view of Madera Peak (10,509’).

Located on Mono Creek. Pine and Fir trees provide shade for most campsites. Some sites are on Mono Creek.
Take Hwy 168 east from Clovis to Shaver Lake. Continue thru Shaver Lake to Huntington Lake. At east end of the Huntington Lake turn right on the Kaiser Pass Road (at Eastwood Visitor Center). Travel 17 miles to Edison Lake Road. Take turn left (towards Edison Lake) and travel 4.5 miles to Mono Creek Campground; the picnic area is inside the campground.
