Directions

Once you get past the South Entrance Station, continue following the road you are on for 5 miles, and it will lead you to the Visitor Center. Just before the parking areas, the road curves to the left. You can park your car in one of four parking areas, then get your first view of Grand Canyon by taking a short walk to nearby Mather Point.

From the Visitor Center, it is also possible to Park-and-Ride. Leave your car at the Visitor Center, then board free shuttle buses and ride around the South Rim.
