Located in the Cimarron Recreation Area, these four, man-made ponds, were constructed for migratory birds. There is an accessible fishing pier, covered picnic sites, campground and group picnic area. Trout are stocked in the ponds in the winter and channel catfish are stocked during the summer. Please refer to Kansas Dept of Wildlife and Parks for further information regarding licensing, size limits, etc.
Directions
From Elkhart, Kansas, travel 7 miles north on Hwy 27, turn east (right) on FS 700 and continue 4 miles. Ponds are located in the Cimarron Recreation Area on the north side (left) of the road.
